The exhibition presents two authors from the same family tree, or rather grandmother and granddaughter.
The main idea that unites the works of the granddaughter Alaya Tsanova is the vinyl wrap/folio.
With this mixed technique, Alaya won the XIV Academic Drawing Competition 2018. This is how she realizes the potential of the new media. She is also influenced by her parents working in the advertising business. Completing a high school level in Advertising Graphics and a bachelor’s degree in Scenography, she also continues to work in the advertising business. One of the services offered is vinyl wrap stickers, which also gives unlimited access to this material.
The artist depicts the emotions that animals show us with their expressions, poses and actions.
The second author is Veneta Tsanova.
Grandmother of the young author and creator in the slowly returning tapestry art demanding patience and precision. Her grandmother often asked the young author how he had the patience to detail some of the paintings. In response the only thing that followed was an astonished response, looking at the needle, which he had to carefully make at least 10 thousand stitches.
Her works feature landscapes, animals, biblical scenes and children’s illustrations.
